Rouhani describes ‘Great Satan’ as ‘decorous’

TEHRAN, Dec. 2 (MNA) – Iran’s president has described Obama a decorous person; forgets about his role in cruel sanctions against Iran.

Mehr News reported that Hassan Rouhani in an interview to Financial Times has used an expression to describe Obama which had found extensive publicity in US streamline media. Asked whether Mr. Rouhani would invite Obama to Tehran in the future, and what would he thought about the issue as a high-ranking official, Rouhani told that he had found Mr. Obama ‘having a decorous and polite manners’ during the phone call.

“As I said before, the US and Iran problems are very complex and they could not be sloved overnight or in short term,” Rouhani was quoted to have said. “Despite the complexity, in recent 100 days, some overtures have been made which would be even more in the future,” he said.

Meanwhile, Obama, after the oft-cited phone call with Rouhani, met the Israeli Benjamin Netanyahu and threatening increasing sanctions on Iran, said that all options including military option were on the table against Iran.

The expression ‘decorous and polite’ to describe Obama by Rouhani comes only after the most cruel sanctions by the US had crippled Iranian economy in addition to assassination of nuclear scientists and sabotage against Iran in Obama administration.

The sabotage and assassinations were not limited to Iran. People in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and Egypt are the victims of daily US cruel interventions in the internal affairs of their countries.

Rouhani’s optimism came only when 3 years ago, the nuclear deal with the West-commissioned by Turkey and Brazil- and with the good offices of Erdogan and Da Silva, was rejected by the US, and US had shown that it had not been seeking solution to Iran’s nuclear issue.

It is highly surprising that Rouhani had described Obama in the face of the large scope of cruel crimes by the US.
